Hey, losers! Miss me? I am going to be real for a second and say the last week has been exhausting. I try not to talk about school too much in my posts, but I have to say this is the most tried I have ever been. My free time has been filled with constant clubs, and I have been kinda getting burnt out with cheer. So, please forgive me if the post this week is a little lacking. On another note, next week is fall break! This means I will actually have time to build my Batman car! (Yeah, I lied it is not making a comeback this week. Sorry lol.) I will also have time to do a lot of things I plan to write for posts so that is at least something to look forward to! Sorry for this negative introduction, but let's get into this week’s post!
⭐ Twilight Hater Gives Twilight A Try 🌙
Listen, when I say I hate twilight I don’t actually really know what I am talking about. I say I hate Twilight all the time but I have never actually watched it. I know: I am a fraud. However, I am working on a personal project at the moment, and, believe it or not, it involves reading all the books or at least watching the movies.
I have dipped into the book slightly. I have made to like page 103 I think, but lowkey it is not that bad. The writing is kinda clunky in some aspects, and the grammar is more than questionable. However, that is an author issue, not a plot issue. It has me hooked, and maybe I will finally get what all the hype is about or stand my ground that it is actually terrible. I will also be able to actually be able to form an actual educated opinion instead of just spouting nonsense! I can’t wait to go through my Twilight change of heart arc.
🚪Get Out Of My Room Mom! I’m Playing Roblox!🎮
I am sure we all have played Roblox at some point in our lives. And, I am sad to say, that point of my life was all of Middle School and now. I have been playing nothing but Papa’s Wingeria and freaking Roblox that last week and a half. Someone actually save me. However, I have been specifically playing a game called Doors with my friends and I can officially say: I suck at puzzle games and anything that involves horror.
You would think that since I used to play Dead By Daylight often, a Roblox game wouldn’t scare me. Alas, that is far from the truth and I am actually the worst. My brain cells just can’t function in that game and I don’t understand why. It also infuriates me that again, a Roblox game has become my enemy. It also actually scares me, which is sad. This game is beginning to rival Uno, and I might break something if I am not careful. 😡
⚔Anime of the Week: Attack on Titan⚔
So, compared to the last anime I have recommended, this one is a complete switch-up. This is NOT a comedy or very light-hearted. It is nothing but tragedy and betrayal. However, the plot is fantastic. If you showed me the first and last episode at the same time, I wouldn’t believe that it is at all the same show. The characters go through so much development, specifically the main character Eren. The soundtrack, animation, characters, and everything about this anime make it fantastic. Also, don’t ask for details, but if you are a fan of WWII, you will really like this anime. Even people who don’t like anime even watch this one. WARNING: This one contains a lot of blood and more mature concepts so be mindful when watching.
I am going to take the summary of this anime right from the internet because I can’t write one without revealing too much lol.
“Attack on Titan is set in a world where humanity is forced to live in cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans; the story follows Eren Yeager, who vows to exterminate the Titans after they bring about the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.”
Thanks, Wikipedia for that lovely description! Anyway, I don’t suggest you look too much into this anime before watching it because spoilers are everywhere. Also, I find that this anime is best when watched with little background information. However, if you have never watched anything before and you are planning on watching this as your first one, I advise you don’t. I feel it will set expectations a little too high in terms of what anime is. It really is that good, however, save it for later for when you actually enjoy anime a little bit more. But, if you have been watching anime for a while, what are you waiting for? HURRY UP AND WATCH IT!
🫤Percy Jackson: A Teenage Dirtbag
In my Creative Writing class, we read and watched Percy Jackson: The Lightning Theif and I must say, the movie is one of the worst adaptations of a book I have ever seen. I really enjoyed the movie when I was younger, but now that I am older and actually have developed taste I have come to realize how bad it actually is. Specifically, on how much of a jerk Percy is in the movies. He is not sarcastic or funny like in the books. He is just a jerk whose default emotion is just anger. He is also incredibly angsty for like no reason. I don’t know what characterization they were trying to go for in the movies, but whoever approved a 16-year-old angsty teen deserves to be fired. Also, the commentary in my class was incredible. They should really give us an award for how funny we are. Mr. Stone, I am waiting.

Again, sorry for the negative introduction, I do feel much better after writing this. I am surprised by how much I like writing for Younger Colors. I thought that maybe after post two, I’d find it kinda boring, but I lowkey look forward to this every week. Anyway, see you next week, losers!
Okay, but seriously, Doors is no joke. I get to like level 40 and Seek always gets me! Every time I see that long hallway, I feel my stomach churn and my temperature rise!!
