Good morning, everyone! I'm Ethan Kline, and this is #203 of Younger Colors, a newsletter that documents student life and connects the community. Let’s jump into today’s post!
💌My first couple session was perfect!
Due to the weather on the weekend of Valentine’s Day, I was forced to postpone a few of my sessions. I told all my clients, “Yeah, everything should still turn out okay in the rain,” but after a minute to think, I just needed to push everything back. Weather does really affect your photos. Last weekend I met up with sweethearts Serenity and Tytton whom I didn’t know until that day. Meeting a couple of strangers in a remote location: dumb way to die, right? It was a win, win because neither party killed the other!
Jokes aside, I strive to make my clients comfortable and the experience memorable. I think I finally set a firm price guide and hope to stick with it. I have two sessions this weekend, a group and a duo, and I am coming with all the gear I own. If you want to book me for March, feel free to reach out to me! My website is up and running now, and you can always message me on Instagram @younger_colors
🏀Basketball season is coming to a close!
Congratulations to our Wildkittens and Wildcats for another great season. The girls took the district title for the second year in a row, while the boys placed fourth! While we may not have any more home games after tonight, there’s still a long way to go for Regions. The two varsity games have been held on different dates, meaning we cheerleaders have had to travel twice as often. It’s all a part of being among the greatest athletes in the state, and I love watching them play!
Tonight is a home game where our Wildkittens will play the Tellico Bears. Be there at 7!
📺Shows I’ve binged lately:
Physical: 100
Full of suspense and action, Physical: 100 tasks Korea’s most fit athletes to compete head-to-head in various challenges. It had been a long time since I’d watched any reality game shows, but I was very pleased with this show. I enjoyed connecting with each character only for them to be eliminated promptly. The most suspenseful part of the show was when they’d air two episodes each week. I hated that I’d have to wait a whole week before finding out what happened to my favorites, but it always had me coming back.
Breaking Bad
What would you do if you were diagnosed with cancer today? According to chemistry teacher, Walter White, it is totally plausible to cook methamphetamine to pay for your treatment. What on earth! While I don’t condone making crystal to pay the bills, I can tell you Breaking Bad is full of drama and suspense, and you really sympathize with the characters. You feel for Walter for having to keep his antics from his family, and you just want to bash Jessie for being a compulsive liar. I’m still trying to find what hooked me on this show; I think it’s the memes. I’ll let you know.
