Let’s beat the Cougars tonight, Wildcats! 🔥
Hey there, Younger Colors, welcome back! It’s Ethan Kline writing for you all again, and I have plenty to talk about. How did you guys like Morgan’s first post Wednesday? She’s a great addition to our team, and I can’t wait to read more from her! Today’s song is a new one Johntravis showed me by Joji!
I’m looking forward to this weekend! 🛶
Work did not go well last weekend, but I am really hoping it will pick up tomorrow. I’m thinking last week sucked because Jonah finally left for Virginia which meant we were understaffed. We have been incredibly busy as Labor Day draws near; we had roughly 450 floaters last Saturday! After Hiwassee Outfitters, however, I am seeing my friend, Dane Soto. It’s definitely been a while since he and I have hung out, so I am really looking forward to it.
On top of that, I always attend Community Fellowship every Sunday, and you should too! I’ve been asking a lot of people who don’t regularly go to Church to join our Youth Group, because I really think we’re something to show off. I hope you all have a great weekend!
Look forward to an interview with our readers from Isahaya, Japan! 🇯🇵
It’s been about a month now since I was an Ambassador for TWU’s Culture Program with Chinzei-Gakuin, and I think a post about it is long overdue. I am going to begin interviewing Chinzei-Gakuin High School students about their first time in America! I was so privileged to be working with 21 foreign visitors, and I am thrilled to be sharing our two weeks with everyone here at Younger Colors. How cool is it that we have readers living in Japan? Anyway, I am going to get in touch with them soon, and I hope you look forward to our interview!
Let me tell you about The Little Prince! 👑
This story was the first book I ever read as a child. I remembered more of how I felt reading it than what the story meant as I was only 7 years old, but picking it up again reminded me of how simple things used to be. The story follows a young prince who visits various planets in space and addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss. The Little Prince also makes observations about life, adults and human nature. If you guys want to read it, I’ll lend it to you.
I wanna hear more from you! 🗣
What do you guys like to hear from me? Sometimes I feel like I might be boring you all to death, but I know there are some segments that you all really enjoy! Starting next week I’m going to be asking you active readers for interviews, because I always felt that added a bit more community to this publication. At times I feel like the least relatable narrator, but I’m going to put up this poll in hopes we can communicate just a little better.
Let’s meet a few Cheerleaders! 📣
To commemorate our game against Copper Basin, I thought I’d interview some of our Polk County High Cheerleaders! We’ve got a great Pep Rally prepared for you all during Club Period, and I hope you’ll come out and see our Cats tonight. Let’s get these questions rolling!
